Jessie Margaret Howard of Sarasota passed away peacefully on June 15, just a month short of her 103rd birthday. Jessie was born in Gessie, Indiana on July 22, 1912 to Daisy Redmond Rabb (later Johnston) and Edgar Raymond Rabb. She spent her adult years in Chicago, Oregon, and finally Sarasota. She was a bookkeeper in numerous industries. She worked well into her 80s. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Kenneth Howard, and by her three sisters, Marion Cummings, Maxine Wild, and Veta Rae Jensen. Surviving are her step-daughter Denyse Heffner, nieces Judith Irwin Bartell and Patricia Diefenthal, and nephews Charles Cummings and Richard Jensen. Jessie enjoyed travel, golf, and especially family. There will be no local services.
