Kathleen Mary Cunningham

She lived in Wheaton, Maryland, and attended Glen Haven Elementary School, and Sligo Junior High School in the 1960s. The family moved to Titusville, Florida, in 1969, where she attended Andrew Jackson Junior High School.

Later, when her family moved to Newport News, Virginia, Kathy attended Ferguson High School for two years, then Menchville High School for one year.

Eventually, the family moved back to Wheaton, Maryland, where she graduated High School from Northwood in 1974.

She married Kenny Cunningham in 1982. They had two sons, Jonathan and Daniel. Her sons, and daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, reside in Virginia.

Kathy was a beautician and Licensed Cosmetologist for many years and had a loyal following wherever she worked.

Kathy was a loving, and sweet personality. Never judgmental, always choosing to give people the benefit of the doubt and always looking at the good in them. She is, and will be, loved and missed very much by everyone that knew her.

Kathy was predeceased by her former husband, Kenny, and a nephew. She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan and Daniel (Keisha) and her granddaughter. She is also survived by her parents, Kenneth and Theresa Samuels of Sarasota, Florida, and two brothers, William and (Constance) Samuels, of Sarasota, and John Samuels and (Laura), of Maryland. Also survived by many loving nieces, and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephew.
