
Louis W. Twarog, of Ocean Park, ME and Sarasota, FL died peacefully with his wife by his side on March 5, 2017 after a long battle with COPD. He was born in Dracut, MA and lived in Lowell for many years before relocating to Beverly, MA. He was the youngest son of Sophie (Kulaga) and John Twarog of Lowell, MA. Besides his loving wife, Maureen Twarog, he leaves his son, Todd Twarog of Lowell, MA, a daughter Tami Twarog of Lowell, MA, his brother, John Twarog of Warminster, PA, his step children and their spouses, Christine and Christopher Baer of Torrance, CA and Ron and Kris Summit of Newburyport, MA. He was also the beloved “Papa Lou” to his grandchildren, Darcy and Chantel Hubbard of Torrance, CA and Mathew and Taylor Summit of Boston, MA. He leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews and their spouses and children. Besides his parents, Louis was predeceased by his sisters Constance Matyas and Virginia Stankiewicz. He was a US Army veteran, worked in purchasing and procurement for most of his career and eventually retired from the Commonwealth of MA. He was a kind and loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was extremely proud of his Polish heritage, something that he made sure everyone knew. Once you met him, you would never forget him. Respecting his wishes, there will be no services.
