Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Louis Phillip Schaeffer, Marilynn is survived by her son, Phillip (Sara) Schaeffer of Stamford, CT; her grandson, Ian Schaeffer, of New York City; and nieces, Mary (Steven) Frank, Kay (Jim) Shumaker, Lynn (Werner) Bergen, and Donna (Stephen) Glick.
Marilyn will be sadly missed by everyone. She loved her family and her many friends. Marilynn was a member of the Church of the Palms in Sarasota.
Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, August 20 at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
