Marvin E. Jackson, 87,. Formerly of Anderson, Indiana passed away in Sarasota, Florida on June 26th, 2023 after an extended illness. Marvin was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 22nd, 1935 to Catherine and Oscar M. Jackson. He grew up in the Summitville, Orestes, Indiana area.

Marvin is survived by his wife Ellen of 49 years, a blended family of 5 children Michael (Peggy) Jackson, Susie (Joe) Dawson, Nancy (Mike) Fitzjarrald, Lori (Brian) Levine, Bob Hussle/Eric Erickson. Brothers Wayne (Joan) Jackson, Edward (Judy) Jackson, and Jim (Carol) Jackson. Marvin had 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Marvin was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Oscar Jackson, sister Wanda Durr, sister Callie Jackson and daughter Jennie Jackson.

Marvin was the Ceo and owner of Indiana Flooring Carpet One, Anderson, IN, for 51 years before his retirement. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Loved his time spent in his boat on the waters off of Sarasota, Florida.

Cremation will take please in Sarasota, Florida. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Indiana.
