Rillon Howard Anderson

Rillon H. Anderson 73, went to be with his Lord and Savoir on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from his home in Sarasota Florida surrounded by his loving family after a 3-month battle with cancer. There will be a memorial service held Saturday November 22nd at 3:30 PM at Grace Church 901 Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066 . Rev. Russell DeBord will be officiating the service. Mr. Anderson was born February 3, 1941 in Silver Point Tennessee. He owned and operated Anderson Grocery in Peru Indiana. He then moved his family to Sarasota Florida in 1978 and opened Andy’s Quality Meats. He was a gentle compassionate loving husband, daddy and grandpa, much adored and admired by many! He went on to heaven to join his sisters, JonnyMuriel Eckelbarger, and JoyLynn Bowyer, his parents Elijah and Elza Anderson, and his grandson Carrick DeBord. He leaves behind, his loving wife Shirley Anderson of 52 years, his sister Lorine and husband Lear Pigg, his children; Daughter Shari DeBord and husband Rev. Russell. Daughter, Andrea Spear and husband Jacob. Son, Kevin Anderson and wife Heather. Son, Faron Eckelbarger and wife Debbie. Daughter, Rhonda Kauffman and husband Terry. As well as his grandchildren: Calvin DeBord, Randall DeBord, Robert & Whitney King III, Rillon Wread, Victoria, Zoe Anderson, Michael Eckelbarger, Devin, Bradley ,Abigal Larrison, and many beloved nieces and nephews and hundreds of others who called him “Dad”.
