Susan H "Sue" Wiegand 78, of Sarasota, Florida died Friday, April 25, 2025 at her daughter's house in Tallahassee, Florida. Sue was born in Akron, Ohio, She moved to Sarasota in 1960 from Poland, Ohio.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, founder of Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota.
Sue is survived by her son, Richard (Kathy) Wiegand, two daughters, Denise (Daryl) Kirby and Sheri (Steve) McNally; and grandchildren, to Bradley, Benjamin, Alyssa, Madeline, Steven, Mackenzie, Tyler, and Kyle.
Sue loved her family, traveling and poetry.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota
