Wayne G. Holt

Wayne Holt of Sarasota, FL, and Brookfield, WI, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus after a short, courageous battle with cancer on April 25, 2017. Wayne was born June 18, 1931, to the late Anthony and Antoinette Holt in Milwaukee, WI

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Rischmiller) Holt. Also survived by his children, Lynn Hawkins (Phil), Patti Holt, Mary Beth Jansen (Jim), Susan Bello (Jorge), Ann Bannister (Tom), and his son Paul Holt (Michelle), stepsons, Rob Rischmiller (Debbie), Reid Rischmiller (Dawn) and Ron Rischmiller (Zoki), 25 grandchildren and 18 Great-grandchildren. Also survived by his two sisters, Marilyn Bourbonais and Patricia Millmann (Chuck), and many beloved family members. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Rosemary, and infant son, John Christopher.

Wayne’s greatest pleasures were spending time with Mary, golfing, and traveling. He also loved spending summers with his large extended family in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Florida.

A memorial service will be held at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home 7454 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota on Saturday April 29th from 10:30 to 11:30 with the Rev. Elizabeth Turk officiating.
