Adeline will be sadly missed by her daughter Gwen (Jeff Hinz) Isfeld and her daughters Ashlee (Curtis) Babiy, Jaimee (Justin) Schindel, and Karlee Isfeld; son Scott (Tina) Zook and daughter Jessica; daughter Sherry (Mark) Pentlichuk and children Matthew and Madison; as well as her four great-grandchildren: Brighton, Harper, Ellie, and Leo. Adeline was predeceased by her husband Edward, in 2022. She was the last of seven siblings to pass.
Adeline became a registered nurse in 1960 and worked at St. Paul’s Hospital, where her caring nature touched many lives. After the birth of her second child, Scott, she chose to devote herself fully to her family, becoming a loving homemaker and constant presence in her children’s lives.
Mom had a passion for bowling, something clearly reflected in her many trophies, but her greatest joys were always found in caring for others. She was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League for many years, generously volunteering her time in service to her community. After retiring as a nurse, Mom also volunteered for many years at St. Paul’s Hospital.
Sunday suppers were a tradition in her home, where family always gathered, laughter was shared, and no one was left hungry, or without a care package. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought a light to her face; she cherished each of them deeply and loved them beyond measure.
Mom and Dad spent many happy years camping at Wakaw Lake, often bringing the grandchildren along and creating memories that will be remembered forever. Throughout her life, Mom made it her mission to ensure everyone around her was cared for; kind, resilient, and selfless, with a heart full of love to give. A mother whose embrace could ease any worry, whose words carried comfort, and whose presence made everything feel right. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she loved so completely. She was our greatest blessing.
A Remembrance of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200. To share a memory or send condolences, please visit www.mourningglory.ca .
