Alan Ross Turple

May 3, 1931 - December 2, 2015

Alan passed away at Saskatoon Convalescent Home, at the age 84. He is survived by his loving wife Noreen; children Len (Deb), Kathi Feschuk (John), Jeff (Billie), Tim (Dana); grandchildren Danielle, Todd and Jeremy Feschuk, Keely, Jessa and Ryan, Matthew and Lucas; sister Phyllis Greggain (Norm); as well as nine nieces and nephews. Alan was predeceased by his parents Juanita and Victor; and his brothers Jack and Duane. Alan was employed at SaskEnergy for 35 years and served on SaskEnergy's Superannuation Board in retirement. He built the family cottage at Jackfish Lake and enjoyed building bird houses and other "Built by Bunkie" projects with his grandchildren. He was always ready to help a friend or neighbor, Alan was there to lend a hand and was a devoted Dad and Grandad. He was a lifelong supporter of the Saskatoon Hilltops and was active in community politics. The family gratefully acknowledges the excellent care Alan received at Saskatoon Convalescent Home and from his physicians. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Saskatoon Convalescent Home Foundation (101 - 31st Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 0P6). At Alan's request, there will be no service.
