Alvine Rose Marie Rowlett

Alvine was born February 1, 1942 at Quill Lake, SK and passed away peacefully, as she had wished at her home in Saskatoon, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 18th, 2015. Alvine is lovingly survived by her husband Gerald of 47 years of marriage; sons Kelly (Michelle and their children Cole and Hunter), Kelvin (Jodie and their children Kody, Gunnar and Maverick); siblings Evelyn Wagner of Kindersly, Corinne Dufault of Kindersly, Florine Dufault of Saskatoon, Wiliie (Beth) Moisan of Kindersly, Ivan Moisan of St. Front; Lloyd Rowlett of Perdue, Everett (Sandy) Rowlett of Nora, Roy (Carol) Rowlett of Saskatoon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Elise Moisan. Alvine loved her family deeply, cherished her many friends. Vigil of Prayer will be held Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:30 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 23rd. at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Family (123 Nelson Rd). A Private Family Committal Service will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon, SK. Family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (440 – 2nd Avenue N, Saskatoon, S7K 2C3) or Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan (1-345 3rd Avenue S, Saskatoon, S7K 1M6).
