Andrea Epp

It is with deep sorrow in our hearts that we announce the passing of Andrea Carmen Epp. She was born on June 13, 1992. Andrea passed away suddenly on June 12, 2018. Andrea is survived by her parents Randy and Carol Epp and brother Graham (Monika) Epp. Andrea will also be missed by her loving boyfriend, Evan Thompson, who had a very special place in Andrea’s heart. She was predeceased by her grandparents Steve and Carmen Semesock, Peter and Anne Epp; and cousin Scott Epp. Andrea was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. Her life was filled with many passions. She was a national gymnast, loved music, especially playing and singing at the piano. She also loved animals of all kinds and rescued a chihuahua named Mervin from the SPCA. Andrea enjoyed creative writing which inspired her to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism. She started her career as a Radio Newscaster for CJYM in Rosetown and was sought out by CJCY in Medicine Hat. Andrea’s ambition lead her to CHAT TV (in Medicine Hat) where she was the News/Weather Anchor. Andrea was a kind and gentle soul and had a way of making people comfortable enough to open up to her. She had a bubbly personality with an infectious smile. She was always grateful for even the smallest things. Andrea was a mental health advocate who will be dearly missed. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Cathedral of the Holy Family (123 Nelson Rd.) in Saskatoon. The Celebrant will be Very Rev. Fr.
