Dad was the eldest child of Margaret and William Schlosser. He was born at home and raised in the Bremen area. On July 20, 1953 he married Anna Noll. They had nine children. They took pride in farming together until 1994 when they retired to Saskatoon. Approximately 6 years ago Dad was diagnosed with dementia. As his health declined, in October 2016 he moved to Luther Care where he passed away surrounded by his wife and children. Dad is lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Anna; children, daughter-in-law Diane, Adel and Roger, Cyril and Char, Norman and Carol, Joanne and Chris, Gordon and Johanne, Donnell and Dawn, and Rhea and Derek. Grandpa is also remembered by his 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Alphonse (Marge), Phyllis, Dennis, Reg (Eley); sisters-in-law Irene and Sr. Marian. He was predeceased by his two sons Arthur in infancy and Neil in 2014; one grandson Jesse in infancy; two brothers Wilfred and Murray. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Andrew to the Alzheimer Society (www.alzheimer.ca/sk), Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca) or to a charity of one’s choice. A Vigil for Andrew will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Both services will be held at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church (114 Kingsmere Place) in Saskatoon.
