Ann Sandirson

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on February 11, 2015 at St. Paul's Hospital, at the age of 79. She is lovingly remembered by her son Roy Braun of Saskatoon; grandchildren Melody Braun (Terry) of Saskatoon, Roy Braun Jr. (Corinne) of Edmonton, AB, Regan Braun of Saskatoon and Nicole (Les) Doell of Biggar, SK; daughter Bonnie Braun of Saskatoon; grandchildren Cindy (Chris) Harder of Calgary, AB and Melissa (Matthew) Wilkins of Saskatoon; son Russell (Tracey) Braun Langley, BC, grandchild Nicole Braun Langley, BC. great-grandchildren Haylee and Dustin Heidrick of Saskatoon, Dallas and Jaryn Doell of Biggar, SK, Savannah Braun of Edmonton, AB, Christin and Cody Harder of Calgary, AB and Austin and Kayden Wilkins of Saskatoon;  as well as many dear friends. Mom was predeceased by her father Albert Leonard in 1960; her mother Lily (Leonard) Warr in 1987 and her life partner Willie Prince in 2001. Mom was born April 6, 1935 in Prince Albert and grew up on the family farm in Weirdale, SK. She moved to Saskatoon when she was 10 years old. Mom worked in the dietary department of University Hospital and Porteous Lodge for many years. Mom was always happiest when working in her garden and flower beds and no one could make pickles like grandma. Mom's greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Mom's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at her home (417 Ave R North, Saskatoon). At her request a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital (1702 - 20 St West, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9).
