
Annette Pauline Nesbitt died peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital on March 2nd, at the age of 91. She was born July 3, 1923 in Kindersley to Anatole and Valeda Longtin and had ten sisters and one brother. She became a teacher and in 1950, came to teach at Scotville School north of Radisson where she met and married Bill Nesbitt. She went back to teaching in the 60's and 70's in Radisson and continued to live there until she was 89. She was predeceased by her husband in 1980, nine sisters, her brother and her son-in-law Bruce Dockstader. She is survived by her sister Jeanine (Phil) Dinelle of Prince George; and her children and grandchildren: son Cliff (Colleen) of Turtle Lake - Jennifer (Dom) Marchand of Saskatoon, Lisa (Dan) Disley of Calgary and Blair (Kendra) of Nipawin; son George (Barb) of Edmonton - John and Ellysa; daughter Valeda Dockstader - Michael (Erica), Kristina (Ian) and Vaughn Warriner all of Saskatoon and Steven Hedley of Edmonton; and daughter Mary (John) Ryerson of Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, Matthew (Eileen) of Asbury, New Jersey and Jared of Calgary. Also 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews and their families. There will be a Private Family Service at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Borden Care Home for the wonderful way they looked after mom these last two years. They would also like to thank the nurses of 6th floor at St. Paul's for the amazing and compassionate care they gave mom and the family these last 18 days. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society (1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3), the Borden Care Home (Box 155, Borden, SK S0K 0N0) or to a charity of your choice.
