Mr. Anton "Tony" Peter Kovach

Tony Kovach passed away on Good Friday, April 15, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. The relaxing of pandemic restrictions allowed each of his family members to visit him in the hospital. Tony had three biological children Karla, Ken, and Lori. He was also blessed with a second family with Peggy Kugler (“The Little Woman”), and her children, Marc, Dawn, and Victoria.

Tony had an opportunity to imbue his last words of wisdom onto his children and is survived by:

In life, Tony prided himself as being a resourceful, resilient, and persistent force in this world. He was an honourable man that worked an honest life. Even though he grumbled a bit, above all else it was a joy and pleasure for him to take care of the people he loved the most.

Tony had high regard for his friends and enjoyed reminiscing and telling stories about the good ole days. He acquired many friends over the years throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.

Tony was the youngest in a family of ten - survived by his brother Steve (Laurie) Kovach and sister Vera Lennstrom.

He was a character, loved to have a good time, was quick to share a laugh, a smile, cook up a meal and lend a helping hand. He was a jack of all trades, a loving husband, a father, a friend and a dreamer.

Arrangements entrusted to Aime Laventure. Donations in Tony’s memory may be made to The Lung Association of Saskatchewan (2308 Arlington Avenue Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L3), Kidney Foundation of Canada, Saskatchewan (116 103 Street East A3 Saskatoon, SK S7N 1Y7) and or plant a tree.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
