Borzeena Lutzer, affectionately known as Buzzy, was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Buzzy's younger years were spent as an artistic, intelligent student then as a teacher's aide ... even before that position had been established. She was a high caliber softball player, a dancer, and was always the life of every party. Buzzy had a passion for animals, plants, baking and laughter. That passion will live on in all of us who knew her.
Buzzy kept the laughter going. In her later years she spent her time volunteering at the church and the senior centre where she kept everyone laughing with her sense of humour and a twinkle in her eye. When asked what she felt was her greatest accomplishment, Buzzy would always answer "my family". She was happiest and at her finest when the entire family gathered for a meal, no matter the occasion.
Buzzy is well loved, much appreciated and will sadly be missed. She now joins her husband Ed, brother Walter, sister Olga and her child brother Morris. She is survived by her brother John (Phyllis), and her children: Sandy Bergunder,( Shelley), Karen Olsen (Stan deceased), Murray Lutzer (Paulette), Ken Lutzer(Jen), Lynne Lutzer (Marlene), Laurie (Roy). She will also be missed by her grand children; Greg ( Sandra), Paul (Kelly), Jeff ( Jess), Johanna ( Jason), Shelley ( Colby), Chris, Caitlin ( Kellen), Erin ( Luke), Riley and Sean. As well her great grandchildren; Jake, Meghan, Emma, Jack (infant deceased), Tianna, Grace and Cohen.
Although our hearts are heavy at this time we know that you are safe and warm in heaven. You were and will continue to love and guide us. As you so eloquently said “I am tired and must go. I have seen the other side and it is beautiful. Now I know I will be able to see you all from above.”
Until we meet again.
