

Charlie was born on February 6, 1934, on Berens River Reserve, where his father was the teacher and lay minister. He passed away on July 13, at RUH, surrounded by his family. Charlie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He told the best stories, gave the warmest hugs and had the most infectious laugh. He was loved deeply by his family and will be sadly missed. He was predeceased by his parents, his three siblings, and his first wife, Eva, and is survived by the love of his life – his wife, Geri, as well as his six children: Cindy Wall, Nancy Street, Debbie Stevens (Brent), Diane Losie (Mike), Tracy Street (Scott) and John Street; his grandchildren: Colton (Leslie), Brittany (Steve), Mitchell (Erin), Carlie (Jake), Brayden and Jody (Jay); his great-grandchildren: Halle, Will, Navy, Kenna, Munro and Bjorn, and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlie’s wish was to be cremated. A Celebration of his Life will be held on September 8, at the Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street) at 1:00 p.m. The interment will be held the same day at St. Stephen's Church Cemetery in Merrill Hills.
