Clarence was born and raised in Prud’homme, SK. Clarence was the fifth of seven children of Paul and Leda Andre. He left home at an early age to start a career in dry walling in Edmonton. This trade eventually took him to many parts of the world such as Israel, Baffin Island and many other areas of northern Canada. Clarence’s love of carpentry was expressed in his homes where you could see the intricate details. He took great pride in his manicured yard and vegetable garden. Sharing the bounty of his garden gave him tremendous joy. Clarence was a hard working man his whole life. He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters Ashley (mother Adeline Sawitsky) and Nicole (mother Leanne Holinski), siblings Regina (Don), Paul (Aline), Edward (Linda), Wilfred, Richard (Louise) and Gary, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Leda Andre and sister-in-law Collette Andre. A Celebration of Clarence’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Vonda Golden Age Club in Vonda, SK. A Private Family Interment will be held at St. Donatien & Rogatien Cemetery in Prud’homme, SK at a later date.
