The family lived on a farm near Kinloch and later moved to Porcupine Plain when Cliff was young. In 1969, Cliff moved to Saskatoon where he attended SIAST and obtained a diploma in Biological Sciences. Cliff married Trudy McCracken in 1972 and had three sons: Jeremy, Justin, and Kristian.
Cliff worked for Agriculture Canada for 37 years pursuing his passion of agriculture. During this time, he worked in the oilseeds breeding program and was the coordinator of the Saskatchewan Sunflower Committee. Post retirement, Cliff worked as a commissionaire for a number of years.
Cliff had many talents and passions and tirelessly volunteered his time giving back to his community. He spent more than 20 years as a Saskatoon Hilltops Director, holding the role as president for one year and was inducted as a lifetime member of the Hilltops in 2020. An avid artist and passionate musician, Cliff played with many local bands. As a hobby, he obtained his Amateur (Ham) radio license. The Powlowski boys were the center of his world and he attended every practice and game possible. Above everything else, he enjoyed time with his kids, grandsons and granddogs.
Cliff is survived by his wife Trudy and sons Jeremy (Sheri) Powlowski, Kristian Powlowski (Lindsay Anderson); Justin (Nicole) Powlowski and their sons Jaxon and Brady; Sister-in-law Brenda McCracken; Brother-in law James Houk; Sister-in-law Evelyn Powlowski; Niece Jennifer (Chad) Lafontaine; Nephews Cameron (Crystal) McCracken, Quentin (Felicia) Powlowski and Ryan Houk and Trent Houk. Cliff is also survived by his granddogs Dooli, Swoop and Kiki.
