It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dallas on February 5, 2025. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nadine; son Corey (Tracey), grandchildren Sage, and Aiden, son Graham (Kristen), grandchild Abby, and daughter Arielle (Mark), grandchildren Braylen, Hayden, and Hadley; brothers Barry (Paula), Warren (Karen), sister Andrea; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dallas was predeceased by his parents Peter and Bernice.
Dr. Dallas Popick was born on June 19, 1957. Dallas loved being at the cabin and lake, fishing, hunting, woodworking, playing cards, playing with his grandchildren, and listening to old country music. He could fix almost anything that was broken, which earned him the name Dr. Papa among his grandchildren. Dallas graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a medical degree that culminated in a 40 year practice throughout central Saskatchewan. He was a very dedicated physician and gave his life to the service of helping others.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Dallas will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Family, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon, on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m with Very Rev Father Gerard Cooper Celebrant. For those unable to join us, please view the service at
