Darren passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 51. Born in Regina on May 5, 1969, he was the third child of Ernest and Frances LaMontagne. He is predeceased by his father and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Rutchel Rogador; daughters Kasey and Amanda; sister Leanne and daughter Tiawna; sister Michelle (Michael) and son Riley; brother Dwayne (Sherri) and son Matthew, daughter Jadyn and son Jared. He is also survived by Rutchel’s family in Manila, Philippines.
Darren always had a great sense of humour and a very vivid imagination. He was a gifted writer and in 2009 published his novel “The Pearly Gates”. He was an avid sports fan, but especially enjoyed hockey and football. His favourite teams were the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Colorado Avalanche.
