Debra Lyn Beam (68 yrs) passed away December 18th, 2025 at about 6:15 am. Debra spent her final days in palliative care. The staff was so supportive and caring. Our entire family would like to thank the palliative care unit at St. Paul’s for bringing so much comfort to not only Debra, but to our family as well. She was surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments. She was pre-deceased by her husband Gary Beam - the love if her life, just 8 months earlier. She is survived by her only son Jean-Pierre Veilleux, Sandra Veilleux and their children Ariana, Austin, JJ and Jayla. She is survived by her sisters Brenda Craven (Don) and Sandra Calvert (Ab). Her best friends Irene Odell and Mercina Kokkas were truly her strength and backbone throughout the final stages of her life. She had many nieces and nephews as well as dozens of friends that will miss her greatly. There will be a celebration of life for both Debra and Gary at some point, with the date still being determined. Debra had such a zest for life and brought love and life to all who knew her. We will continue to keep her memory alive through her loved ones and family.
