Diane Mark

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Diane Mark on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the young age of 73. Diane is survived by her loving husband Jimmy; daughter Susan (Gary) of Toronto, ON; son Stan of London, ON; daughter Kathy (Gary) of Saskatoon; and grandchildren Kevin, Jason, Justin and Natalie. Diane was born on March 4, 1940 in Canton, China. In 1956, she moved to Saskatoon and married Jimmy Mark. Diane worked in the restaurant business for a number of years, including running the family business Haultain Lunch. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Diane will be forever remembered for her endless kindness and generosity to others. She had a passion for gardening and took great pride in her garden. Every day she would spend time in the garden looking at and caring for her plants. Family and friends would often visit her garden too, and pick the abundance of Goji berries. Diane also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends making wonderful meals and going to various social events. She was especially close to Linda Mark, who she spent much time with going to the casino, dim sum, tai chi class, and visiting with. Thank you to the staff at Royal University Hospital Intensive Care Unit who provided such compassionate care to Diane.
