Donald Wladyka

Donald passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Hill Haven Care Home in Saskatoon, SK. Born in Harris, SK on July 2, 1939 he leaves to mourn his sisters Joan (Roy) Andres and Margaret (Armand) Lachapelle, both of Prince George, BC; brother Ed (Nancy) Walker of Calgary; nephews Martin and Michael Lachapelle, Wesley and Greg Andres. He will be missed by very special friends, Brent and Lorrie Burlingham, who came into Don’s life many years ago and were his rock through thick and thin. A very special “Thank-You” to Jo-Anne McKay and daughter, Jammie for going above and beyond the call of duty, in their compassionate care for him, filled with love and making Don part of their family with “Hayden” being his special little boy. Despite Don’s lifelong challenges, he had an infectious positive attitude and enjoyed meeting people, leaving them with an example on how life should be lived. At Don’s request, no service will be held.
