Douglas “Doug” passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 54 years. He was predeceased by his Father Russell (November 12, 2019). He is lovingly remembered by his Mother Isabel, Sons Kyle and Ryan, Brothers Garry (Liana), Robert (Lorraine), Sister Gwen (Garry Manovich), Extended Family, Jack Koshey (Lorraine), Nieces and Nephews, Mark (Aimee), Megan (Devon), Erin, Ashley, Andrew (Amy), Joseph, Shayleigh, Great Nephew Brayden, Great Nieces Brynn and Madailein, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Doug was born in Melville, Saskatchewan, attended St. Henry’s Roman Catholic School and graduated from Melville Comprehensive High School. Doug worked at the McLeods store until it closed, as well as with his father at Ace Bicycle. He took on a job with Motters Heating/ Plumbing & Electric, later achieving his journeyman electrician status. He spent many years working for Triangle Construction before moving to Saskatoon to work with The Home Depot for many years, lastly taking a job with Boardwalk Property Maintenance. Doug was a loving and compassionate father who always put others before himself.
