Mr. Eldon Bruce Baptiste Sr.

It is with deep sorrow we announce that Eldon Baptiste, age 75 of Saskatoon, SK passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 14, 2026. Eldon was born on December 28, 1950 in North Battleford, SK.

Eldon is survived by his sons; Bobby Baptiste, Eldon Jr Baptiste, Damien Shorting, Robert Thomas and Waylon Gardipy.

Daughters; Lisa Atcheynum, Vanessa Lariviere, Bonnie Swiftwolfe, Daisy Andrews and Juanita Sunshine.

Sisters; Shiela Kennedy, Barbra Ann Anaquod (Donnie), Lois Verhaege, Lorretta Baptiste, Dale Fiddler (Robin), Sandy (Al). Brothers; Jules Sinclair and John Paul Baptiste.

Grandchildren; Sophia Fox, Emma Lee Baptiste, Riel Baptiste, Charity Desjarlais and August Desjarlais.

As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eldon was predeceased by; son Sheldon Berard and daughter Sabrina Clark. Mother Virgina Wuttunee, father Joseph Keeskotagan, sister Evelyn Laliberti and brother Brent Baptiste. Grandparents Mary Jane and Lenard Wuttunee. Paternal grandparents Edward and Mary Keeskotagan. Nieces; Marissa Verhaege, Candace Opikekew and Celynn Laliberti. Nephews; Lee Verhaege, Levi Baptiste, Abe Laliberti, David Laliberti, Terry Kennedy and Patrick Kennedy.

A wake will take place at the Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre (168 Wall Street, Saskatoon, SK) on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 5pm followed by the funeral service on Wednesday April, 22 2026 at 11am. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery (1502 2nd Avenue, Saskatoon, SK)
