Eugene Missura

Eugene was born on February 5, 1935, in Rosthern, SK, and spent much of his life in the Alvena area farming with his parents before moving to Saskatoon, SK. He had a passion for gardening and took great joy in sharing his harvest with family and friends. He also enjoyed countless hours polishing his trucks, visiting with friends and playing kaiser.

Eugene is survived by his sister, Elaine Stadnyk; nephew, Duane (Joanne) Pidwerbetsky; and niece, Shantelle (Dean) Hrytsak. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Joyce Missura; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Wilf Pidwerbetsky; and brother-in-law, Ron Stadnyk.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Stensrud Lodge for the excellent care Eugene received during his time there.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10:00am with V. Rev. Archpriest Taras Makowsky officiating. Family requests that those who wish to attend gather at the front gates for 9:50 AM to process together to the graveside.
