Fae Elizabeth Rusnak

Fae Elizabeth Rusnak (nee Donaldson). January 15, 1928 to June 14, 2015. Fae passed away peacefully at her home in Sherbrooke Community Centre. She is survived by her brother, Brem Donaldson; her children Don, Jim, Kathy and Dan; and six grandchildren, Chris, Debra, Heather, Adrian, Nyckolas and Katelynn. She will be missed by many nephews and nieces as well. Fae was predeceased by her husband, Bill; parents, George and Florence Donaldson; her brother, Hubert Donaldson and her sister Greta Bailey. Fae was a very kind, outgoing person who loved spending time with friends and family. She also took pride in her nursing career, retiring as a Manager of Nursing from City Hospital where her calm and gentle style helped so many people. Fae and her husband Bill were avid bridge players, square dancers, and never missed an event on either side of their families. Fae was gifted with musical talent, playing piano in her younger years, and singing with the Saskatoon Chapter of Sweet Adeline’s where many long and lasting friendships were formed. She was active at Bethel United Church for many years. Fae will be remembered with love and affection by many friends and family members! The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful and compassionate care given to Fae by the staff and volunteers at Sherbrooke. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM from Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre.
