Frank was born on July 10, 1944, in St. Paul’s Hospital, the fifth child of Rachel and Robert Denis. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juliette, and their three children: Liane (Martin), Lisette (Don), and Leslie (Nancy), five grandchildren Brandon, Sabrina, Devon, Cayla, Cassie, four great-grandchildren Blaikley, Brax, Beau, Crue, and eight foster children; his siblings Anita, Eugene, Helen, Ronald, Bernadette, and Benoit. He was loved by many extended family members and countless friends whom he considered family.
Frank was a jack of all trades and a hardworking man with a great sense of humour. He and Julie were entrepreneurial, successfully managing a resort at Martin’s Lake, running a catering business, and being landlords. He was a trained mechanic but, really Frank was a farmer at heart.
In addition to his work, Frank enjoyed having fun and trying new adventures. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed skiing, and loved to travel with Julie. His work ethic and love for his family were evident in everything he did. Frank was a story keeper always had a story to shared, followed by a joke. Frank enjoyed many winters in Arizona and always enjoyed playing softball.
Frank was a Catholic who never missed Sunday Mass, even on vacation. He helped in opening a French Chapter of the Knights of Columbus at Saints Martyrs Canadiens. Frank was proud to have held many K of C titles, including, Grand Knight, District Deputy and Millenium Chairman.
After 80 full years of life, Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and laughter.
