1939 - 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Fred Froese on May 5, 2017. Fred was the 6th of nine children born in Hague, SK to Cornelius and Sarah. He was proud of his heritage, thus he passed on his love of Mennonite food to his 3 children Cory, Jason and Michele. Fred knew how to have fun and to verify that you can ask any member of his large extended family. One of Fred’s strengths was his resilience and determination to live a peaceful life despite a long battle with diabetes. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, while sitting in his easy chair with his feet up. He will be dearly missed by his entire family as well as his many lifelong friends. There will be a private interment service on Saturday, May 13 followed by a public gathering at Windsor Chapel – Lower Hall (704 Windsor St.) in Saskatoon from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Arrangements in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200
