

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family of Gary Wyshynski announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Friday April 1, 2011 at the age of 51 years.
Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife Melinda, daughters Michayla and Alyssa; mother Rose; sisters Ellen Wyshynski (Vegreville); Brenda (Maurice) Janex, Patrick and Amanda (Warman); Fern (Kevin) Young , Sarah and James (Saskatoon); parents -in-law, Abe and Edna Froese (Saskatoon); sister-in-law Laura (Sheldon )Thiessen, Jocelyn, Rochelle and James (Hague), brothers-in-law, Trevor Froese (Saskatoon) and Brendan Froese (Saskatoon), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gary was predeceased by his father, Bernard (1977); maternal grandparents, William and Mary Suer; paternal grandparents, Theodore and Josephine Wyshynski and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Gary was born on May 24, 1959 to Bernard and Rose (Suer) Wyshynski. He grew up on the farm at Elstow, attending Clavet School for Grades 1 to 12. In 1977 he started working at T.M. Ball Lumber and later Revelstoke/Revy/Rona where he remained until his passing. During his 34 years with the company, Gary proved to be a very dedicated employee. Throughout his school years and adult life he enjoyed many sports such as rugby, football, curling and track and field. He enjoyed watching all sports and was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears. He also enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing. Gary met the love of his life, Melinda, at Revy and in 1994 they married. They have two beautiful daughters, Michayla (1997) and Alyssa (2000). He enjoyed going to the girl’s soccer games and dance recitals. He also enjoyed the many holidays they went on as a family. Gary was a fun loving guy and the life of the party. We will cherish the many wonderful memories we have of him and he will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Gary.
The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish (110-104th Street) with Deacon Bob Williston presiding. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon,Sk.
As Michayla and Alyssa were so important to Gary, an expression of sympathy may be made by way of a memorial in- trust donation to Michayla and Alyssa, in lieu of flowers.
