Gloria’s captivating smile would “light up” the room! Her positivity so contagious! She had a zest for life; along with such a kind & generous spirit! She was a very proud woman; she had a strong & principled character. These strengths & convictions stayed with her and guided her through life. A natural born caregiver; she always cared for others. Gloria had an innate ability to connect with people; didn’t matter who you were, or where you were from; she loved connecting with people and people loved her!
The nine (9) grandchildren that arrived over the years brought her so much joy! She always valued the special time spent with her nieces & nephews; and then more recently, she was so thrilled with the addition of six (6) great-grandchildren.
So many great memories to recall from; vacations; watching all the grandkid’s activities and of course the wonderful summers at Sturgeon Lake along with the winters in Palm Springs!
Gloria and Wayne spent the last 65 years together. A lot of life lived through that many years! They took some very memorable trips to different destinations around the world, enjoying the time with family & friends especially with the kids in Las Vegas! Her love for a great slot machine was very entertaining!
Gloria cherished so many special relationships in her life with her; sisters, Ruth (Mike); Lorna (Tim); brother, Bill (Pat); and brother-in-law, Daryl (Sylvia). There were also so many treasured friendships, a number of which span several decades.
We will miss Gloria so much! But we take comfort knowing her life was well lived and she is now in God’s care.
Gloria was predeceased by her; parents, Bill & Mabel; mother & father-in-law, Art & Muriel; sister-in-law, Linda; brothers-in-law, Bev & Melvin.
