Greg Alexander Campbell was born July 16th, 1957, in Prince Albert, to Andrew and Adrienne Campbell. He was the youngest of their 6 children. He had 3 older brothers Ted (Shirley), Robert (Donna) and was predeceased by his brother Bud (Carole). He also had 2 older sisters Janet (Joe) and Margaret (Mike).
He was raised on the family farm near Spruce Home and loved participating in 4-H. He married the love of his life Erla on October 7th, 1978, and they went on to have two daughters Amanda and Amber. Greg spent most of his life working in building maintenance and loved his job but more than that, he loved his family. His grandkids were his entire world. He was especially proud of all his grandkids and took a genuine interest and pride in all their lives whether it was bikes, cattle, video games, the Edmonton Oilers or F1 racing, he loved to hear and brag about everything they were doing.
Greg will be sadly missed and will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand to a friend, his hilarious stories and his jokes on his kids and subsequently his grandkids.
Greg is survived by his wife Erla Campbell (nee Matthews) his youngest daughter Amber (Jordan Agarand) and her son Andrew and his oldest daughter Amanda (Ron Dmytrowich) and their children Blaze, Alexa, William and Paige.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Manna and all the staff at the Saskatoon Cancer Center, the staff at St. Paul's palliative care unit and all the staff at the Hospice at Glengarda for their kindness, support and dedication to Greg's care.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Windsor Chapel, 704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon.
