To the Zoerb family, we are so sorry to hear about Maureen’s passing. Mom , Sheelah McDermott, was telling me today that Maureen was her “Little Sister” in nursing training at City Hospital. So they have known each other for 69 years! Dale and Maureen have been good friends to Mom all these years. We kids have many fond memories of the Zoerb family growing up in Saskatoon.

Good Morning Dale & family - We share in the sadness you all feel at the passing of Maureen.  It was in the mid '50's when we first met and over the years we shared some coffee times here and there and she was such a genuine friend to all and her warm gracious smile was forever in your mind after our first meeting.
Dale, you and Maureen were blessed with a long marriage and the joy of grandchildren and now great grandchildren that will cherish each time you shared.
To all of Maureen's children, Your Mother remains with you with every beat of your heart and you will know she is close by with each passing day.  As you all gather together at this time of her physical passing, you will know she is the brightest star in the sky.

Dalene, Rick, Julia and family…I am so sad and sorry. Your mom and grandma was such a wise and gentle soul.  Her smile lit up the room, especially when talking about her family. I loved talking to her at baton and dance practices, competitions and events. Together with your dad and grandpa, they created  such a big, wonderful family! God surely has another Angel to look over your beautiful family!!! 🙏 You and your family are in my prayers for strength and peace. Biggest hugs.

It was always a pleasure to visit with Maureen and Dale at family functions. She was always warm, caring and made you feel comfortable and welcome.

An Angel on earth is certainly the most fitting description for such a beautiful soul. My family is forever grateful to her and we will cherish fond memories of such a loving, kind & gentle lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Zoerb family as you say goodbye to such a remarkable women. We are so sorry for your loss.

Condolences to the Zoerbs.
Mrs. Zoerb’s regular visits to parent/teacher meetings were highlights for teachers at Aden Bowman fortunate to have her children in their classes. She was the first parent I saw at such meetings and she remains to this day, decades later, the most memorable for me.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Mo. My mom, Ruth Owen, was in the same nursing class with her at City Hospital and they were fast friends for many years. My mom always spoke so lovingly of her and over the years of their friendship I was lucky enough to speak with her and come to understand why they were such steadfast friends. Ruthie passed away several years ago. I like to think that the two of them are once again enjoying each others company and watching over us. Condolences to your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We were very sad to read of Maureen’s passing. She was a wonderful lady, always gracious and kind.  She was so proud of her family and was always excited to share their activities and accomplishments when asked. Our condolences to Dale and her family.
