Helen Sather

January 16th, 1930 - February 5th, 2024

Helen was the youngest of the Jacob and Elizabeth Pfeifer of Young SK. Helen was a very independent woman her whole life. She loved her cats, dogs and horses. Helen loved going to school, she was an exceptional student. Unfortunately the school only offered grades 1 to 10. When she finished grade 10 she followed her sisters to Kyle, SK and became a gas jockey where she met Lloyd. In 1951 on November 6th they got married and lived on the farm 2 miles north of Axel Sather's homestead just north of the South Saskatchewan River. In December 1955 Helen and Lloyd welcomed their first son Larry and soon to follow Dan in March of 1959. Helen was very athletic, she loved curling, softball and look forward to local sports days. She also enjoyed playing cards with neighbors and riding her motorcycle. In October 2015 Helen and Lloyd made the move to the Kyle Health Center making it their forever home. Both Helen and Lloyd found comfort with the move as they were surrounded by family and friends.

Left to honour Helen's memory are sons Larry (Jenny) and Dan. Grandchildren Cam (Samantha) and Cassandra (Riley) as well as her Great Grandchildren; Evy, Olivia, Lincoln, Clarke and Leo.

Helen was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Lloyd, parents Jacob and Elizabeth as well as numerous other loved ones.
