Ivan Lind

Ivan Vernon Ulysse Lind was born February 4, 1981 in Regina, SK. He passed away tragically on April 8, 2020. Ivan was a fun, loving and compassionate man. He was a man of many stories and has left us all with many memories to cherish. His smile was warm and his generosity was second to none. He was the first to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on and sometimes even just an ear to listen. Ivan’s love for family was deep. Ivan wanted nothing less than the world for his son Jaxen; Ivan had recently gotten Jaxen a mini dirt bike. Ivan could hardly contain his own excitement waiting to see Jaxen’s eyes light up! Ivan was so proud of the young man Jaxen was becoming.

Life wasn’t always easy for Ivan, however, with his determination, strength and courage he was able to make so many positive changes for himself and inspired hope to others along the way. Ivan was predeceased by his Grandparents Vernon and Shirley Lind and Ulysse and Emilia DeGagne, mother Yvonne Smelt, Step-Dad Richard Smelt, numerous aunts and uncles. He will lovingly be remembered by his son Jaxen Lind, father Wesley Lind, sisters Amanda (Albert) Nickel, Doriane Dreher, Chantelle (Dale) Wiebe, and brother Cory (Jackie) Lind, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many others he considered family. A service to celebrate Ivan’s life will be held at a later date.
