At an early age, Jack’s love of airplanes took him to Air Cadets (41 Hercules), which led him to the Regina Rifles, then 3 RCR, finishing with the PPCLI. After years of service in the Forces, Jack went into food service management and settled in Saskatoon in 1990 with his wife, Diane; his son, Colin (Brenna); two grandsons, Weston and Atticus; and his daughter, Jessica (Corey) Rosler.
After years in food management, Jack went back to school and pursued his passion for computers, where he worked with the Greater Catholic School Board for over 20 years.
After his official retirement in 2023, Jack lived a fulfilling life in which he gardened, built birdhouses, and enjoyed time with his family and friends.
The holiday season always brought out the Santa in him, as he loved all things Christmas. His one wish was to make it to Christmas, and we, as his family, are proud to say his wish came true.
Jack was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. To say he will be truly missed is an understatement.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
