J. Armand Jutras, age 96, of Saskatoon died on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Born in Saint Boniface, Manitoba on March 25, 1927, he moved with his family to Prince Albert when he was two years old. He grew up in Prince Albert where he eventually met and married his wife Kathleen in 1950. They raised their family there until moving to Saskatoon in 1977. He worked for many years for the Hudson Bay Company and then for Corrections Canada as a store man until his retirement.
He was predeceased by his parents, Norbert and Marie (nee Commune), his sisters Jacqueline, Denise, Therese, Madeleine, his brother Pierre, and two precious great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Kathleen (nee Boyle), his children: Jim (Marilyn), Peggy (Don), Mick (Bev), JoAnne (Barry), Cathy (Rod), 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
His faith in God and his love of his family guided his life. He loved many things: dancing, singing, good music, swimming and being there for those he loved. He was a wonderful man and we will miss him.
We would like to thank all those who helped care for Armand during his final illness, especially the staff at Saint Ann’s Home. Their kindness and compassionate care comforted us all.
