Jean Doris Sestak

August 7, 1917 – March 1, 2014

Jean passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on Saturday, March 1. Born near Dana, SK, Jean lived in the Bruno and Viscount areas before moving to Saskatoon in 2000.  She is survived by 8 children: Genevieve (Ken), David, Allan (Shelly), Faye (Bob), Philip, Jerome, Bruce (Ruth), Mark (Joyce); 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters (Sr. Helena Misura and Veronica Misura) and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is lovingly remembered by all.  Jean was predeceased by her husband Frank; parents Mathias and Catherine (Dushenko) Misura; 3 brothers and 8 sisters.  Prayers for Jean will be held on Monday, March 3 at 7 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 4 at 3 p.m.  Both services from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (corner of 12th St and Wiggins) with Father Phong Pham as celebrant.  Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery - Catholic Section.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Luther Special Care Home or St. Paul’s Hospital.    Arrangements in care of David Polzen - MOURNING GLORY FUNERAL SERVICES (306-978-5200) www.mourningglory.ca
