Jeanne was born on June 24, 1931, in St. Front, Saskatchewan, to William and Laura Richard. She was the third youngest of eleven children born to French-Canadian parents. Jeanne completed her education at St. Raymond Rural School in St. Front.
On October 14, 1952, she married Aurel Syrenne in St. Front, Saskatchewan. They were blessed with seven children: Norbert, Celeste, Gilles, Fr. Marc, Rolly, Louis, and Julie.
Jeanne found great joy in crocheting, knitting, sewing, and gardening, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she cherished every moment with those she loved.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Aurel; her son, Gilles, her grandson, Kyle; and many siblings. Jeanne is survived by her sister, Sr. Cecile Richard; her children; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she truly adored.
Jeanne leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann’s Senior Long-Term Care Home in appreciation of the compassionate care Jeanne received. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love, kindness, and support during this time.
