

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Jeanne Moate. She lived a good life and was loved by all. Jeanne was predeceased by husband Cliff, grandson Michael Moate, parents Maryanne and Leo Manegre, siblings Lawrence, Roger and Rachelle. Survived by: Andrew Berger (spouse), daughter Dianne (Gary Moore), son Wayne Moate, and daughter in law Valerie Kalyn (Dennis). Grandchildren: Jodi (Dave Earl), Scott Moore (Shannon), Leanne (Jeff Friedenstab), Michelle (Ray Ouellette) and Nicole Waterhen. Great grandchildren: Taylor (Dylan Sanche), Lauren (Erik Mattson), Logan, Avery, Maddie, Jordan, Kyle, and Whitney. Jeanne was a self-taught piano player and loved playing all her life. She was the life of the party. She started her career as a receptionist for the RCAF which culminated in a long and successful career as a Court Reporter. Jeanne worked at the Saskatoon Police Service in the court system and developed a very successful business. She retired after 30 years. Jeanne and Cliff spent many enjoyable winters in Phoenix where they made many good friends and enjoyed playing the horses at Turf Paradise Race Track. She was a shining example of living life to the fullest! The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 26 at 2:30 pm at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St, Saskatoon).
