After a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, Joan made the choice to pass away peacefully with her family by her side at City Hospital on May 22, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bryan; her children: Jody (Heide), Wanda (Brian), Kelly (Leah), and Lorne; her grandchildren: Jill (Mark), Jason, Kale, Dylan (Frannie), Logan, Madison, and Riley; and her great-grandchildren: Walker, Lennon, Lukas, and Axel. She is also survived by her sister, Judy; her brother, Reed; sisters-in-law, Sylvia and Jocelyn; brother-in-law, David; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Joan's wishes there will be no public services. Joan will laid to rest in Alameda Cemetery.
