Joanne Wiebe

July 7, 1982 - October 11, 2016

Joanne passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital with her family by her side. She was born at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon and was raised on her family farm east of St. Denis, SK. On July 8, 2006 she married Bradley Wiebe and started their life together in Aberdeen, SK and then moved to an acreage near St. Denis in 2012. Joanne loved spending time out at the family farm, traveling, baking and watching her boys play hockey. Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brad and her two boys Preston and Spencer. She is survived by her parents Paul and Agnes Hounjet; siblings Claudine (Chris) Blocka, Adrien (Ania) Hounjet and Martin (Donna) Hounjet; father-in-law Bob Wiebe; mother-in-law Karen Larson; sister-in-law Lauren Wiebe; brother-in-law Devon (Micheline) Wiebe; niece Hadley; nephews David, Steven, Jordan, Alex, Wilson, Harrison, Declan and Carter; as well as numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up for her boys at Affinity Credit Union (Trust Name: Spencer and Preston Wiebe Trust Fund, Account #1645068). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in St. Denis.
