John was born in Saskatoon, SK on May 1, 1951 and passed away in RUH on September 13, 2021 of Kidney and Heart complications. He was predeceased by his parents David & Katherine Goertzen, step-mother Katherine Quiring, sister Doreen Salikin (Maurice), parents-in-law Joe & Nora Bacik, and brother-in-law Russ Bacik. He leaves behind his wife Beverly, daughters April Goertzen, Tanya (Steve) Baron, son David, sisters Marg Bradshaw and Linda Munro, 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St.) in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Kidney Foundation.
