Judith "Judy" Leedahl

August 31, 1942 - January 25, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Judith Lenore Leedahl at the age of 74.  Judy passed over into the hands of God on January 25, 2017 surrounded by her family. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her three sons and their families:  Darren & Wynne - Keegan, Chanel (Brett), great granddaughter Avery; Derek & Tracey - Garrett (Leigha), Toni (Justin) and Dawson; Boyd & Linda and Shalene; brother Mel Grosse and sisters Leslee Palmer, Cheryl Thayer and their families.  Special mention to her constant companion, her puppy Chloe. Judy was predeceased by the love of her life, Don Leedahl in May 2007, parents Phil and Pauline Grosse, sister Lynn Paton and brothers Barry Grosse and Rodney Grosse. Our family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit for their expertise and compassion.  We extend special thanks to neighbors and friends for all their help. Judy was a selfless volunteer in her community.  She put everyone before herself.  Children and elderly held a special place in her heart.  If she wasn't knitting, baking, cooking or reading with the kids at school, she was driving someone to church or to appointments.  Her grandchildren always had their favorite foods prepared with love and waiting for pickup.  Her passion for her garden was appreciated by all who visited.  The bounty of her labour was shared with many.
