

MARCH 4, 1928 – MARCH 17, 2017
With sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our Mom, Kay, on March 17, 2017. Mom is survived by her three daughters, Marlene (Al) Jungwirth of Sherwood Park AB, Colleen (Larry) Hnatiuk of Calgary AB, Judy (Jeff) Lehne of Saskatoon SK; grandchildren, Cal Jungwirth (Carmen and her daughter Emily), Troy (Christy) Jungwirth and great-granddaughter Makana, Elyse Hnatiuk (Ndale), Brydon Hnatiuk; brother John (Diane) Moskaluke; sister-in-law Betty Moskaluke. She was predeceased by husband Gilbert; parents Mike and Dora Moskaluke; brother Bill Moskaluke; sister Cecilia (Carl) Braget. Mom was born in Buchanan, SK and raised on the farm in Watson, SK. She and Dad were married in 1948 and later moved to Saskatoon where they raised their family in Montgomery Place, amongst many cherished friends and neighbors. Mom was actively involved at St. David’s Trinity United Church, their UCW, and as “Snowy Owl” leader of her Brownie pack. She was employed at White’s Pharmacy and then Saskatoon Co-op until her retirement, at which time she enjoyed family time, travelling with Dad, and tending her gardens. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. David’s Trinity United Church, 3318 Merritt Street in Montgomery Place on March 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment and Reception to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Family will be forever grateful to all who assisted in the search to bring Mom home. Special thanks to Saskatoon Police Service and the K9 Unit. Memorial donations may be made to St. David’s Trinity United Church, or Saskatchewan SPCA “Stryker” K9 Care Fund.
