We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Linda Rosemary Harrison. Linda passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015 at St. Paul’s hospital with family by her side. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Mary Camponi, and her granddaughter Kaitlynn Harrison-McPhee. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Brian, her daughter Christin (Lee) McPhee (grandchildren Peyton, Kaedan, Dallan, and Jordan) and son Keith (Tracy) Harrison (grandchildren Brittney and Brendan). Linda was born February 14, 1951, and grew up in Saskatoon. She met the love of her life, Brian, as a teenager. They married and had 2 children, who she dedicated her entire life to. They made the decision to move to Dundurn to raise their family, and that is where they remained through out the rest of her life. To Linda, her family was the center of her existence. Everything she did was for her family, and she dedicated every breath to her husband, children, and grandchildren. As well, Linda had a deep love for animals, and 3 little dogs that were her constant companions. Linda and Brian were inseparable and loved to go for sightseeing drives, with her camera in hand, in the summer, and attended many car shows, where they made lifelong friendships. As well as, their daily cribbage game. She also loved to spend evenings at the farm where she would go horseback riding with the grandchildren and watching the kids wrestling and play in the yard. In the winter months, Linda would spend many hours inside many hockey rinks, as she followed the grandsons around to watch their games. And there was no one prouder of Brittney’s beautiful gift of drawing. She has a wall dedicated to pictures and drawings from her grandkids. There was nothing she wouldn’t have done for her children or family. As we say goodbye to this loving wife, dedicated mother, and loving grandmother, we know that she is at peace now, with her granddaughter Kaitlynn. She will be forever in our hearts. Linda made it her request to not have a public funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the SPCA.
