Lindsay Elwood Rose (LER, Link, Woody) born June 27th 1951 of Saskatoon, SK. was taken from us suddenly the morning of April 19th 2019. He was pre-deceased by parents Manly and Hazel Rose originally of Kinistino, SK. leaving behind his wife Sandra, daughters Connie (Ryan) & Cathleen (Cory). He will be missed by his siblings, Garnet (Jean), Gail (Wayne), Lorene (Tony), nieces and nephews. Lindsay was an active member in community events, sports and car racing. He will be dearly missed and remembered by his many friends. From an early age Lindsay found a passion for fixing, building and racing all types of cars & motorcycles. This combined with his ability to connect with people helped him thrive throughout his career endeavors, which ultimately led him to be a successful salesman. In 1994 Lindsay was diagnosed with MS, this didn’t influence his drive for life; he retired in 2000 and remained busy building bird houses and visiting with friends & family. For those of us fortunate to have spent time with Lindsay, we will remember him living life to the fullest from his youth up until the day he passed away. Please remember Lindsay for his bright blue eyes, contagious smile, and his talent to captivate a room with his story telling and ability to make anyone laugh. If you ever spent an afternoon with dad in his shop enjoying a game of baseball and some of his favorite treats please stop by this Friday evening to say goodbye. Dad, we hope you are driving a car you’ve always dreamed of where there are finally no speed limits. Donations can be made to the MS society of Canada. A Celebration of Lindsay’s Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Streetwise Service (417 – 42A E., Saskatoon), casual attire is preferred. Cremation arrangements are in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Service (306) 978-5200
