I don’t think I truly knew what bravery and courage was until I watched mom battle cancer. She fought with bravery and courage that I’ve never seen before. She never wavered, she never got sad or depressed. She maintained a positive attitude until the very end. Every day it was met with a smile on her face, and she never broke that smile with fear, she fought with amazing strength.
Mom, enjoyed the quiet life, she was never concerned with attention or popularity. She loves her dogs and horses, and that was most of her life. Mom taught me many core morals and values that I live with to this day and pass on to my children. She was very humble and treated others as she wished to be treated. She worked hard for everything she had in life. I think about her every moment of every day and hope to live the rest of my life and continue raising my kids in a way that I know she’ll be proud of.
Aside from enjoying a quiet life, she very much loved her Work family and looked forward to telling her stories each and every day to her friends at work. It meant the world to me when I realized how much she was loved and cared for at work by so many amazing people there. I would also like to mention mom’s family at crazy tales doggy daycare, who went above and beyond to help mom with she was sick. They are amazing people as well, and i will never be able to thank them enough.
Finally, a very special, thank you to mom’s dear friends, Karen and Terry, who were always there for her for many many years
In lieu of any flowers or donations of any type please give to crazy tails doggy daycare in mom’s name, she would have loved that more than anything.
Thank you to everyone who knew and cared for mom, she was special and amazing in her own ways, and I will remember that each and every day.❤️
